Before getting started with OnLetterhead, let's optimize your Outlook for use with OnLetterhead:
Outlook 2003:
1. Click on the Tools button and click Options.
2. Click the Mail Format tab.
3. If checked, uncheck the two top check boxes referring to use Word as an e-mail editor.
This speeds up the opening of the OnLetterhead emails.
4. Click the button below that is labeled Internet Format.
5. Uncheck the top and bottom boxes here.
This improves the deliverability of the OnLetterhead email.
6. Click OK
7. Click the Security tab at the top.
8. In the Download Pictures section, click the long narrow button labeled Change Automatic Download Settings.
9. Uncheck the top and bottom boxes within this window.
This allows Outlook to display the OnLetterhead images when you send and receive your branded emails.
10. Click OK> click Apply> click OK.
Outlook 2007:
1. Click the Tools button, then click Options
2. Click on the Mail Format Tab
3. Click on Internet Format Button
4. Select from the drop down menu "Send using Outlook Rich Text Format." This improves the deliverability of your emails.
5. Click OK, Click Apply, Click OK
6. Click again on the Tools menu
7. Click on Trust Center. . .
8. Select Automatic Download
9. Uncheck the box that says "Don't Download Pictures..."
This allows Outlook to display the OnLetterhead images when you send and receive your branded emails.
10. Click OK
Lets get started sending your first branded email.
Click the OnLetterhead button at the top of your Outlook:
Choose Login
Type your OnLetterhead user name and password.
Click Login
Once you are logged in, choose your design from the Designs drop-down menu:
Now, click the OnLetterhead New button:
Your branded email will pop up in a compose window. Simply type your email as you typically would any other email and click send.
Here is how to setup and use OnLetterhead within Outlook Express:
First, let's get Outlook Express set up for use with OnLetterhead:
1. Go to Tools > Options > Click on the Security Tab
2. Go to the middle of this tab to the Download Images section
3. Uncheck the box - Block Images > Click Apply
This allows Outlook to display the OnLetterhead images when you send and receive your branded emails.
4. Click on the Send Tab
5. Go down to the Mail Sending Format Section
6. Make sure HTML is selected
7. Click on the box HTML Settings. . . {A dialog box pops up}
8. Uncheck the box "Send Pictures with Messages"
This speeds up the opening of the OnLetterhead emails.
9. Click OK > Apply > OK
Now, lets click the OnLetterhead icon:
You may be prompted to login with your OnLetterhead user name and password.
You will see the OnLetterhead command center.
Choose a design from the Choose Your Design drop-down menu:

Choose your Opening, Closing, and Signature from the drop-down menus.
Click Preview, then Apply:
Close the OnLetterhead command center by clicking the green check mark in the bottom right corner:
Click the Create Mail button within Outlook Express:
Your OnLetterhead design will show up within the compose window.
You can type on the letterhead just as you would any email. Click Send to send the email!
Please keep in mind that it is natural and expected to see some misalignment of the letterhead when composing the message, however the design will look perfect when received.
You can turn off the branding should you decide not to send a branded email by clicking the Branding On button:
No Branding will mean you will be sending a plain email.
